GIFTED IS A 501(c)(3) NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION, EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAX UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE (IRC) SECTION 501(c)(3) registered in New York City. DONORS CAN DEDUCT CONTRIBUTIONS THEY MAKE TO GIFTED UNDER IRC SECTION 170.

IN-KIND donations are also accepted, and with prior arrangements could be picked up. In kind donations include but are not limited to:

Office furniture, Automobile, Home Furniture, Electronics, Computers, Jewelry, Real Estate, Properties, and any tangible material that could be put to use for the benefit of the non profit.

MATCHING FUNDS & VOLUNTEER GRANTS

Listed below are few employers who offer a MATCHING DONATION/VOLUNTEER GRANT PROGRAM. If you work for any of the following companies, then you can make a donation to GIFTED and on notifying your employer, they will make a matching donation on your behalf! If your company is not on the list, contact your HR department to find out about your company's matching gifts program.

Volunteer grants are another corporate giving program designed to support the organizations that employees are passionate about. So through volunteer grant programs, companies provide grants to nonprofits like GIFTED where employees regularly donate their time.

Visit our "get involved" page and sign up, and then start counting your hours of volunteer service.

For instance:

Verizon provides a $750 grant to a nonprofit when an employee volunteers for 50+hours

State Farm provides a $500 grant to a nonprofit when an employee volunteers for at least 40 hours

Microsoft provides $25 grant to a nonprofit for EVERY HOUR an employee volunteers
